Fireside Chat Featuring CEOs of Chomps and Naturally Chicago — 4/14/26 Live Partner Event
CHICAGO BOOTH SCHOOL OF BUSINESS TO PRESENT APRIL 14
FIRESIDE CHAT FOCUSED ON CHOMPS' SUCCESS
Chomps, a Naturally Chicago corporate partner, has evolved into one of the fastest-growing snack brands since its founding in 2012. The company has shaken up the meat snack category with its toothsome, sustainably produced, colorfully packaged meat sticks — providing a sterling example of how to expand a product category.
As a recent Forbes article reported:
"Chomps produces meat sticks made with grass-fed and finished beef, venison, and antibiotic-free turkey. The company is on track to exceed $900 million in annual revenue this year and holds 10% of the meat snack market. Chomps products are sold in approximately 50,000 retailers, including Walmart and Target."
And on the evening of Tuesday, April 14, you can get the inside story on Chomps' rocket rise at a Fireside Chat featuring Chomps CEO and Co-Founder Rashid Ali (a Naturally Chicago Board member) and Jim Slama, Naturally Chicago's founder and CEO.
The downtown event is presented by University of Chicago Booth School of Business and its Food, Environment, Agribusiness, and Development (FEAD) program in partnership with the school's Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and its Kilts Center for Marketing.
The event will be held at University of Chicago's Gleacher Center, 450 Cityfront Plaza Drive in the Streeterville neighborhood, beginning at 5:30 p.m. A reception with light bites and beverages will follow the conversation.
