Tour Every Body Eat Production Facility — 7/27/26 Live Event

TOUR EVERY BODY EAT PRODUCTION FACILITY

MONDAY, JULY 27, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m

1012 CHICAGO AVE., EVANSTON

Naturally Chicago is joining with Every Body Eat — one of our most innovative better-for-people brand partners — on a tour of the company’s production facility at 1012 Chicago Ave. In Evanston. The event takes place on Monday, July 27, starting at 5 p.m.

Every Body Eat makes clean and craveable snacks that can be enjoyed by everyone because they are made from whole food ingredients and free from seed oils, the top allergens, and corn. They have built an end-to-end allergen free supply chain anchored in their production facility, which opened two years ago in a former Nissan car dealership.

The tour will give attendees an up-close opportunity to learn the advantages of self-manufacturing over co-packing, which include:

  • Control Over Quality: You control every step of the process, from ingredient/material sourcing to the final packaging. If something goes wrong, you can fix it instantly without waiting for a third party to acknowledge the issue.

  • Higher Margin Potential at Scale: While the upfront cost is high, your cost-per-unit decreases as you scale since you aren't paying a manufacturer's markup.

  • Maximum Flexibility and Agility: You can experiment with small batches, test new flavors or iterations, and pivot overnight without dealing with contract negotiations or minimum order quantities (MOQs).

  • Protection of Intellectual Property (IP): If your product involves a highly proprietary recipe, formula, or process, keeping production in-house minimizes the risk of your trade secrets leaking to competitor

Every Body Eat was co-founded in 2020 by Trish Thomas, who serves as CEO, and Nichole Wilson, who serves as president. Trish and Nichole won the 2023 Naturally Chicago Pitch Slam. Trish is a former member of the Naturally Chicago Board. Dick Thomas, Trish's husband and Chief Customer Officer, is a current Naturally Chicago Board member.
